On this full day tour- delve into history, culture, cuisine and everything that the city has to offer. The tour is flexible based on your interest, but a general flow is as below:
Start at the Somanathpura Keshava temple, A 13th century marvel made completely from stone. Unlike other temples, this is not an active one (no long queues) and is a visual
lesson in Hinduism 101. Decode a few interesting stories from the Hindu mythology, that might put in perspective what it it to be an Indian.
Head to the Mysore Palace to learn about the Mysore kingdom, witness visual splendours on its walls as you take a peak back into the past and learn about the royalty.
Our last stop would be an island formed by river Cauvery- Srirangapatna, the erstwhile capital of Mysore kingdom where the last battle with the British was fought and shaped many international historical events.
